Vermont Physicians Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
Consumers can use the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) website to see whether a certain physician is Board certified or to find out what physicians in a certain area (like the State of Vermont) have a particular Board certification.
To obtain such information, first go to www.abms.org . On the upper left of the page, click on "How We Help You," Consumers. Then go to "Is My Doctor Board Certified?" You will be asked to become a registered user. Once you have registered, you will be able to carry out a "Name and Location Search" or a "Certification and Location Search."
