  • 2- 10 ½ ounce cans low sodium, fat-free chicken broth
  • 14 ½ ounce no salt added chopped tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 2 Tbsp no-salt-added tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 3 ½ cups chopped cooked turkey breast (skinned and cooked without salt)
  • 1 – 10 ounce package frozen green peas

Directions:

  1. Combine first 10 ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
  2. Stir in turkey and peas, and then simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
