Rural Health and Primary Care
The health of Vermonters depends, in part, upon access to basic health care—especially in the more rural areas of our state. This makes the job of assuring an adequate supply of health care professionals a basic function of public health.
The Office of Rural Health and Primary Care provides planning, technical assistance and resources to improve access to health services throughout Vermont.
