Final Test Results Negative for Package Opened in Federal Building

BURLINGTON – On Tuesday, June 29, the Vermont Department of Health began testing a suspicious substance collected from a package that was opened at the Federal Building in Burlington.

A preliminary test on the substance was negative for anthrax. Final tests confirmed the substance was not anthrax.
