Public H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics Available This Week

BURLINGTON – Public H1N1 vaccine clinics continue to be well attended in Vermont, including 450 people vaccinated at Burlington City Hall on Jan. 22, and approximately 600 people at a Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden County clinic on Jan. 23 in Colchester.

Twenty public clinics are scheduled this week, including seven at Health Department district offices in Newport, Springfield, Morrisville and Brattleboro.

The free clinics are open to anyone older than 6 months and are conducted by Vermont's Home Health Agencies and Visiting Nurse Associations and the Vermont Department of Health.

Vaccine is also available at a variety of sites statewide, including health care provider offices, hospitals, work sites, and pharmacies.
