Informational Session: Evaluating Vermont's Prevention Coalitions
The Vermont Department of Health’s Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU) has hired JG Research and Evaluation (JG), a research firm with expertise in public health, to evaluate prevention coalitions. Over the next few months JG will be connecting with prevention coalitions and other prevention partners around the state looking to gather information about their work. This informational session is an opportunity for two members of the research team from JG to provide background on the evaluation project, describe what data and information will be collected, provide information on the role of prevention coalitions and prevention partners within these evaluations, and go over a timeline.
Information Session Facilitators: Dr. Karl Vanderwood is a Senior Researcher at JG. He is the overall project lead, the point of contact, and the lead researcher on this project. Molly Neu is a Business and Research Operations Manager at JG Research & Evaluation, with expertise in public health, client engagement, and project management.
