Practice Management, Administration, and Operation in the SUD Field, Part 1: Monitoring Quality Clinical Documentation in Addiction Treatment
As the addiction profession has evolved into a medical model of care, the industry consistently requires greater attention-to-detail and thorough quality care monitoring. It is now insufficient practice to provide a counselor with clinical supervision without clinical documentation monitoring, feedback, and improvement protocols. Continuous quality improvement (CQI) is the continuous and ongoing effort to achieve measurable improvements in the efficiency, effectiveness, performance, accountability, outcomes, and other indicators of quality improvement. In this presentation, participants will learn strategies to create a system of quality clinical care monitoring in addiction treatment settings.
