2008 Spring Challenge: April 7–11

Move More, Eat More Colors, and Turn It Off!

The 2008 Fit and Healthy Kids Spring Challenge is a week-long initiative encouraging all Vermont children and families to find creative ways to Move More, Eat More Colors (fruits and vegetables), and Turn It Off (TV and video).

The Spring Challenge is part of the Governor's Fit and Healthy Kids Initiative, a coordinated, comprehensive approach to promote healthy eating and increased physical activity among Vermont's children and families. It is a great opportunity to teach youth about the importance of these issues while getting the whole family to think about eating healthy, moving more, and turning off the television.

Spring has been a long time in coming, which makes it even more important to Move More, Eat More Colors, and Turn It Off!
