Educator 's Guide
A companion to the family-focused Fit WIC Activities booklet, The Vermont Fit WIC Educator's Guide offers developmentally appropriate activities for preschoolers in a group setting.

There are four fully developed lesson plans, each of which includes several different activities and take-home materials for parents. Themed activities in the Guide include:
- Aim For Success- helps you recognize an individual child's skill level and the appropriate level of challenge for each child.
- We've Got Rhythm- provides rhythmic experiences for children enabling them to feel good about moving thier bodies to music.
- I Can Do It Myself- shows parents and children how to make thier own toys from inexpensive household materials.
- A Balancing Act- teaches the importance of balance skills and helps children feel successful doing a variety of balancing activities.
- Readings and Resources on Young Children and Physical Activity are also provided in this Guide.
