WIC Mother/Baby Breastfeeding Project

Thank you for your interest in our new breastfeeding project!Breastfeeding mother and infant

The WIC Mother/Baby Breastfeeding Project is a new effort by the Vermont WIC Program.

WIC is committed to helping mothers meet their personal breastfeeding goals. Enrolled mothers receive targeted counseling from WIC staff, support from a WIC peer counselor, and social marketing resources in addition to the care they will already receive from our WIC program.

The health care provider component of this project is available in Franklin, Grand Isle, Addison and Rutland counties.
