The Brain and the Disease of Addiction
This training will aid participants in understanding the disease of addiction by looking at how the brain is affected by substances such as drugs and alcohol and how the disease of addiction develops. This program is funded through the Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional (ROTA-R) Center of Excellence Program at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
