CARE Webinar: Bipolar Disorder Co-Occurring with SUDs

This session will provide participants with information relating to:

• Identification of bipolar disorder in patients with substance use disorders, including how to distinguish it from substance-induced mood states
• When and how to manage bipolar disorder in general medical settings, including roles for prescribers, nursing, psychotherapy, and care coordinators
• Management of bipolar disorder in patients actively using stimulants, opioids, or alcohol, including interactions with medications for opioid use disorder
