Spirituality in Behavioral Health for Wellness and Well-Being
Spirituality and mindfulness are important experiences for improving behavioral health and increasing our wellbeing. Understanding and developing a personal experience of what spirituality uniquely means in our lives provides us with a unique and holistic view for living life mindfully, as it provides insight into healthy personal growth and overall maturity.
We will increase Understanding Spirituality, Behavioral Health, SAMHSA’s 8 Dimension of Wellness and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in practicing Holistic Health.
• Participants will be able to understand the emerging recovery power of health and wellbeing within a spirituality view, and how this promotes holistic nurturing growth towards recovery and wellness.
• Participants will learn the key elements of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, that address spirituality, Behavioral Health, and Wellbeing.
• Participants will discuss and learn strategies to facilitate empowerment and recovery within spirituality, for sustaining recovery and community connection.
