From Risk to Resilience: Developmental Influences on Youth Substance Use and Mental Health
The New England ATTC is hosting an open-access webinar titled, "From Risk to Resilience: Developmental Influences on Youth Substance Use and Mental Health" with subject matter expert, Laura Grubb on March 10, 2026 from 12-1PM EST. This training explores key developmental risk and protective factors that influence youth mental health, substance use, and overall well-being.
Participants will examine the long-term impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), the buffering role of positive childhood experiences (PCEs), and the application of trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate screening tools. The session also highlights evidence-based strategies and public health frameworks that support early intervention, resilience-building, and prevention of youth suicide and substance use at the clinical, community, and policy levels.
For trainings that indicate Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available, contact your licensing or certification organization to verify that the credits will count toward the continuing education requirements.
