Engaging Youth Voices to Improve Substance Use Prevention
Youth Engagement is an approach to prevention where members of the prevention workforce effectively engage youth as leaders or partners in planning, tailoring, implementing, or evaluating prevention programming. In this approach, adults partner with youth, amplifying their perspectives and expertise to improve prevention and empower young people.
In this webinar, Dr. Parissa Ballard will describe different models of youth engagement for prevention and provide tips and tools to guide members of the prevention workforce to consider how to start or deepen their youth-adult partnerships in prevention.
