Community of Practice: Addressing Emerging Needs in Prevention

This interactive Community of Practice is designed to create space for open dialogue, peer connection, and shared learning. Facilitated by Jana Boocock, the session will focus on practical strategies, recent challenges, and collaborative problem-solving. Participants will have the opportunity to share insights, learn from one another, and co-create ideas that strengthen prevention efforts across diverse communities.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify emerging trends and challenges in prevention work and discuss their implications for local practice
• Exchange strategies and practical approaches to strengthen team and organizational capacity in response to changing community needs
• Collaborate with peers to generate adaptable ideas and solutions for diverse prevention contexts
