What is the Population of Vermont?
Vermont's current population is about 647,464 people.
In addition to the national census count every ten years, the U.S. Census Bureau produces annual population estimates. This includes estimates on town populations, estimates by age (five-year age groups), and gender at the county level.
Population and Data Files for Use
The county and town tables presented here are produced from annual estimates. The Vermont Department of Health uses the county age-gender estimates, in conjunction with the town total estimates, to produce age-gender estimates for non-county geographies, such as the Agency of Human Services and Health Department districts.
