Our staff are based in your community – we are the local face of public health in Addison County. We strive to improve the health of our entire community through our public health programs.  We help pregnant people, new parents and young children eat well and learn about nutrition and breastfeeding. We support programs and develop policies that help all people form healthy habits that prevent chronic diseases including physical activity, tobacco cessation, and recovery from substance use. We partner with health care providers, schools, and child care centers to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, prepare for public health emergencies, and increase our community’s immunization rates.  We invite you to learn about the many ways we can help you, your family and your community be healthy. Feel free to stop in Monday-Friday 7:45-4:30 p.m.

We are a Breastfeeding Friendly Employer.
