Overview
Healthy Vermonters is a decade-long, data-driven project based on the national Healthy People framework. Each decade since 1992, starting with Healthy Vermonters 2000, the Health Department has chosen a set of population health objectives to track the health of Vermonters and set long-term public health goals.
Healthy Vermonters 2030
Healthy Vermonters 2030 is a dataset made up of indicators that tell us about the health and well-being of people in Vermont. The data are one way for us to measure the overall health of Vermont over a period of several years so we can understand whether our public health system is helping people in Vermont lead their healthiest lives.
- This data will be updated every year, or according to the availability of the data source.
- Information will be included about what the data means, and how it is being used by the Health Department and collaboratively with partners.
- As much as possible the data will be broken down by geography (county and district office), and population demographics (including race and ethnicity, age, sex, gender identity, socioeconomic status, and more).
