Radon
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Surgeon General recommend testing all homes below the third floor for radon in air. EPA also recommends testing in schools. See more information on radon and radon testing.
Blue Green Algae
We test water samples to confirm whether a Blue Green Algae bloom is toxic. Testing is offered seasonally, when potential blooms are expected, which is usually Memorial Day to Labor Day. See more information on Blue Green Algae.
Bacteria in Water
We test environmental water samples from recreational swimming locations or water used for irrigation purposes for the presence of E. coli. The results of this test determine the suitability of the water for safe swimming or irrigation.
We also test environmental water samples for the presence of Legionella pneumophila. Outbreaks of legionellosis have occurred after people have breathed mists from a contaminated water source such as an air conditioning cooling tower, whirlpool spa or shower.
See more information on both E. coli and Legionella along with testing information.
