Part 5: Neurobiology and Pharmacology and Harm Reduction

Much has been learned in the last 40 years regarding the neurobiology of gambling and gambling disorder through neuropsychological assessment, neuroimaging studies and genetic studies. This workshop will review the research and discuss clinical implications. Sections of a client psychoeducational manual on gambling and the brain will be presented. Additionally pharmacological interventions for gambling disorder will be reviewed.
