Note (8/14/2024): As of August 2024, there is an insufficient volume of data from Vermont wastewater sites for wastewater variant reporting, so the wastewater variant chart has been removed from the COVID-19 Surveillance Report. Other sites continue to submit wastewater samples for monitoring of viral concentration, and the Department's Public Health Laboratory continues to receive COVID-19 specimens from hospitals to identify genomic variants.

Vermont COVID-19 and flu vaccination data reported to the Vermont Immunization Registry is now available in an interactive dashboard. This vaccination information is more detailed than CDC’s state-level data and allows us to look at differences in vaccination rates by county, race, ethnicity, age and gender. It also includes how many Vermonters received a COVID-19 and Flu vaccine on the same day.
